Photoshop Tutorial Feedback

We had a tutorial about Photoshop and we were told on how to start off with the basic thing of cutting out images then inserting a different type of background that we liked. This was fairly easy. Then we started doing other things such as editing other parts then editing the edges of a picture to make it look softer. this was not as easy but it waasn't too bad. On the other hand the adding and removing of layers was quite. So hopefully within the near future I will get the hang of applying some extra skills.
